The LED display circuit board is generally composed of a lamp board and a driving board. At present, there are two design schemes on the market, one is the combination of lamps and one is the separation of lamps. Next we will mainly introduce the differences between the two schemes.
Light flooding combination: LED lights and drive the IC all in one PCB board, IC PCB in the front, eliminating copper plug.
Light drive separation: LED is on an independent PCB board, driving IC and on another PCB board. Two PCB boards are connected by a pin and a row mother to the plug.

1, from the cost point of view: the cost of light driven integration is slightly lower.
2, from the maintenance point of view: the lamp drive separation easy maintenance, because he can replace each other to test, and the lamp drive separation lamp to concentrate together, it is easy to change the light.
3, from the perspective of heat dissipation, lamp drive separation is more conducive to heat dissipation.
The following reasons are usually used for lamp drive separation:
First: the LED display uses plug-in LED, and the lamp foot of LED affects the normal placement of the rear drive IC, so the lamp driver separation mode is adopted.
Second: LED screen spacing is too small, in the electronic design affects the PCB line circuit, the way of lamp drive separation can increase the wiring area of the PCB board.
Third: conducive to heat dissipation and not affect the display effect of LED, such as the use of light drive in one, when the LED light density is very large, driving IC work heat will be very high, then drive IC heat through PCB directly to the IC LED lamp, so that the LED light color changes. This is not the case with the use of light drive separation.
It is noteworthy that the general indoor scanning screen (because of the small number of chips) is relatively more (cost saving) with the light drive, and the outdoor LED display usually uses the form of light drive separation to prolong the effect and life of the screen.
